You will see wealthy people who keep giving charity stay safe from all kinds of calamities. Even those who are not Muslims because their charity only benefits them in this world. And the prophet peace be on him said meaning indeed the unbeliever. When he does a good deed, he is given the reward in this world.
And as for the believer, indeed Allah stores for him, his good deeds for his hereafter, and sends his sustenance in this world according to his obedience to him.
