Law 20 Always Wear Sandals

Narrated Jabir: We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) on a journey. He said: Make a general practice of wearing sandals, for a man keeps riding as long as he wears sandals. Source

Riding = Enterprising

Riding = Winning

This by extension will include boots. If you live in a cold area and so forth. Let us deliberate and extend it further.

Anything which you wear which makes you want to ride i.e drive is good. A good Jacket. A good Watch and so forth.

If you do not wear boots most of the time your mind will not be in work mode. And your enterprise will grow weaker.

If you wear boots all the time your mind will be in work mode. And your enterprise will grow stronger. You will grow stronger. Your family will grow stronger. Your friends will grow stronger. And your community will grow stronger.

So make a general practice of wearing sandals or boots. As soon as you start your day and take them off only when you get in bed. This is what I do.
