We are humans. We want stuff. We have desires:

We want good clothes, good place to live, good cars, good travels, good mates, good kids, good food, good gadgets. We want all of these things. Everyone and everything is under the control of Allah. So if you please Him, everything will be yours. And the way to please him is to worship Him alone and never associate anything with Him.

Lesson 86 make things easy for yourself and for others:

The Prophet peace be upon him, said to Mu’adh Ibn Jabal, when he peace be upon him, sent him to Yemen, meaning make things easy and do not make them difficult and give glad tidings and do not create aversion.

Allah gives his slaves ease, but some people don’t want to take ease. They think if they make things difficult for themselves, they will get more reward. This is a huge misconception and a trick shytan plays on Muslims.
