Before The Steam Engine:

So before the invention of steam engines, there used to be wooden ships where spices, silk, lumber and all kinds of goods would be imported and exported using these wooden ships.

And these wooden ships were not powered by engines. They were powered by wind. Have you ever thought who made the winds blow not into the depths of the ocean, but who made the winds blow from one city to another city? The answer is in the Quran
